The Russian president Vladimir Putin said that hes new hypersonic “Kinzhal” missile is a part of Russia’s new stockpile of “invincible” weapons.
The “Kinzhal” is said to travel at 10 times the speed of sound and have a range of 2,000km (1,200 miles).
In Putin’s annual state of the nation speech on 1 March, he played a video graphic that appeared to show missiles raining down on the US state of Florida.
The Russian leader unveiled an array of new weapons during his annual speech to parliament. Vladimir Putin also criticized the US nuclear strategy, saying that parts of it are of “great concern.
If we do not take these threats seriously, it is very possible that in the near future we’ll have to face a huge threat to global freedom and democracy, as authoritarian countries are getting more powerful than they should be.
With Chinese president Xi extending his presidency indefinitely and Putin expected to get re-elected in the Russia elections, we understand that a global threat to western freedoms and values is growing.
It seems like the USA has been ignoring Russia’s new weapons and technology as a threat to the free world. Let’s not forget the Russia is a not free country. That makes it a threat to the free countries.
Let’s not forget the Russia may have interfered in the US elections of 2016 and it is possible that the not free nation is doing that with European democracies too.
The question is: Why we keep ignoring these threats?
